My name is Sirant and I have been using the magical Ukulele as a way to bring joy to myself and others, relieve stress and have fun for about 5 years now. I tried for 6 years to play the 6-stringed older brother of the Ukulele (with pro lessons and everything) but could never wrap my head around it. Yet for some reason a small 4-stringed "childrens toy" with different tuning and a poor reputation in the musical world caught my heart and I could play 10 songs in a week! In a month it became 30, and so on. Now I can't even count the songs I can play, with tabs or by memory. And we ain't just talking Hawaiian Ukulele music! I can play a little of everything! You name it, and I will try! I will play folk, hawaiian, country, rock, punk, R&B, pop and everything in between! Classics and todays hits! But what I really like now is writing! I wrote my first song a couple years ago called Aloha Granny, a song for my Great Great Gramma. She was quite a gal and so it had to be quite a song! I hope to write more to match it!
